After the rains, the entrance to my running trail is flooded...so, I'm forced to re-visit an old favorite running course: the parameter hiking trail around Spring Lake that meanders in and out of Annadel State Park.
The 3 mile trail is well traveled by runners and hikers wishing to escape the crowded paved paths of the lake. I splish and splash through the mud, chilled by the cold spring wind and warmed by the peak- a- boo sun both at the same time.
It's Spring Break and schools out.. so, lots of kids and families are out for a "bit of fresh air" before the next rains come. Good to see, but Brrrrrr...
