Peace and love from the land of the Wine Country in Sonoma County! Us, old hippies can't resist a peace sign to spread the spirit of the season. My neighbor Dave created this fun piece out of an old hula hoop! We neighbors all like this so much I think the message will stay up all year :)

Open House Sunday!

Torrential downpours have dampened this Open House Sunday! The deer don't seem to mind as they traverse the back yard looking for something to eat. The winds blew my open house signs over, then the winds unhinged the signs and they blew down the street! Ugh! Now, I'm sitting by the warm, cozy firelpace in this Oakmont home for sale at 6518 Meadowgreen Place warming my thoughts and spirit. The real estate market has screeched to a halt! No buyers....I guess it's time to "hunker down" and hibernate until after the New Years holiday. It's supposed to rain for a whole week in the wine country. Well, looky...the rain has stopped for now...maybe someone will come....you know, real estate is like fishing...set the pole with bait, throw out the line and ...wait..for the buyers to come...it can be a lonely sport!

Colors at Christmas!

This year the colors of fall are on fire! My own front yard is lite up light giant fireballs as the maples change from green to various shades of red, yellow,orange and purple! I can't remember when there has been a more magnificent display.

Real estate in the Sonoma Valley has almost screeched to a halt as buyers and sellers interests have turned to Holiday preparations instead.
